According to the same publication, Chelsea has now entered the scene and is willing to offer up to 60 million euro for the Colombian captain.
If true, the move would put James on the best team in the Premier League and provide the potential for a revenge match against his former team in the Champions League. Conte, Chelsea’s coach, has been pushing management to make more acquisitions and prepare the team for a run at the Champions title next year.
The problem, according to Don Balón, is that Rodriguez is still insisting that he be transferred to Manchester United. His unwillingness to consider other offers, including teams such as PSG and AC Milan who have expressed interest, is hurting his market value.
