If there was any doubt about the future of Colombian superstar James Rodriguez, Carlos Bacca dispelled it today. What was a rumor is now just an open secret: James Rodriguez is going to leave Real Madrid.
According to Spanish sports site Don Blas, Bacca, who has been actively recruiting his friend and teammate to join him in Milan, revealed that James has been frustrated with his inability to crack Real Madrid’s starting lineup and with their head coach Zinedine Zidane.
“If he stays there he has to fight for his position on the field every day. It was not easy to make the decision to leave Real Madrid for another club, but one has to keep a cool head. He is doing it because he’s a professional”, Bacca told the site.
James continues to have multiple offers from which to choose, including Manchester United, PSG, Juventus, and Mílan, however the decision could depend upon where Cristiano Ronaldo lands and how much he gets paid.
